Tennis Elbow, I think I've worked it out.

admin | 24 July, 2008 19:29

In my last post about the popularity of the tennis elbow support in the motorcycle world I expressed my suprise that the tennis elbow support had out sold the wrist support by quite a margin. I think I've worked out why!

Many of my friends are into motorcycle adventuring. These are the ones that are suffering with their elbows. I visited a mate yesterday and took a close look at this bike. He's got a BMW 1200GS Adventure. When I parked my Transalp 650 next to it I saw the size of this thing, it was MASSIVE! On top of that he had 40 litre metal mule panniers and loads of added extras. When I expressed amazement at the size of the thing he told me about picking it up when it goes down. He has to grab one of the handle grips and heave with all his might. He showed me and buggered up his elbow! Obviously he bought a tennis elbow support!

My Transalp is classed as a bit whimpy but after some reasonably surgery it's now a fantastic dual sport bike and extremely tough and what's more... when it does do down, I can pick it up nice and easily without the need for a tennis elbow support for a month after!

See you soon

Tennis Elbow and motorbikes. Wrist Supports too.

admin | 23 July, 2008 19:21

Hi Blog readers,

Here are some words for you, Tennis Elbow, Wrist Supports. You know I pushed the wrist support to bikers when I started this company but from looking at the sales figures we are selling more tennis elbow supports than wrist supports. Our wrist supports come a very close second but that has suprised me. I'm a biker myself and feel the pressure on my wrists more than my elbows.

Still, I'm very happy with the performance of our tennis elbow supports and wrist supports for bikers as my mates would be the first to moan if they didn't!

Thanks for reading

Tennis Elbow

I get tennis elbow

My wife gets tennis elbow.

Oh dear!

I've been tidying up my garden for the last 3 weekends and have finally done myself in. I ended up with tennis elbow after repeated banging with a spade trying to chop down a nasty a huge plant! My wife has also got a painful elbow. So, I headed into the office and bought myself and my wife two tennis elbow supports and we are now wearing them. I know how good they are but I'm not sure my wife really appreciated their tennis elbow pain healing properties.

Already my elbow is feeling much better and my wife is outside gardening and whisteling away like an angel (or a builder!).

Anyway, thanks to my amazing Lastrap Tennis Elbow supports were are pain free.

Tennis elbow and wrist supports for bikers.

admin | 18 July, 2008 08:07

Morning Campers!

Today I received no letters but I'm not feeling unloved as yesterday I went out on a ride on my bike and here's what happened.

First you must understand that the typical motorcycle puts loads of stress on the wrist and elbow. A while ago I posted some information on our wrist supports and tennis elbow supports onto a motorcycle web site. Over the months orders were placed and the word got around.

Yesterday I went out on a run with some folk from an old club I used to below to. To my suprise they are all wearing Lastrap wrist supports and Lastrap Tennis Elbow supports. I kept quiet as they told me how great they were and tried to persuade me to get some myself. When I told them I worked for the company they were flabberguasted! Needless to say I have used both the tennis elbow and wrist supports for riding my bike and have had great results with them.

Have a great day!

Tennis Elbow Support Letter

admin | 16 July, 2008 16:30

Yesterday we sold a Tennis Elbow Support and today we received a fantastic letter from a lady from Houndslow. She told us how superb the delivery service was and also mentioned that the tennis elbow support was comfortable and has eased her pain already after only one hour of wear. "Your tennis elbow support is simply superb, it's comfortable and has eased my pain already after only an hour of use. - Thank you."

Good eh!

Tennis Elbow

admin | 15 July, 2008 20:47

The last two days have been good. We received two fantastic letters about our tennis elbow supports and wrist supports that really make me proud to be a part of the Lastrap Team. One chap has lost the ability to write due to an extremely painful wrist and bought two wrist supports. After a week of using our supports he tried writing again and hand wrote us a beautiful letter. He's not used a pen for over 20 years!

Another chap had tennis elbow to such an extent that the doctors had given up and prescribed all kinds of pain killers. Finally he found Lastrap and has been pain free for the last two months!

The above letters really are testiment to the amazing attributes of the Lastrap range of supports.

Thank you for reading

Elbow support letter.

admin | 26 June, 2008 12:28

Hi Blog,

Today I received a lovely letter regarding our elbow support from a lady who's husband had a 'severe brain haemmorrage'. He has been attending a clinic in the Wirral for stroke patients and was recommended a Lastrap Elbow Support by the lady who run it. An elbow support was purchased and is now doing it's job nicely.

Thank you Mrs B Bolton from Merseyside.

More pages changed for Tennis Elbow.

admin | 18 June, 2008 11:33

Hi viewers,

I have made loads more changes to the site in the hope that we will be placed higher in the search engines. I've not cheated but have actually created some more content on various pages about tennis elbow. I've also managed to successfully get some other web designers to link to our Lastrap site using the phrase tennis elbow which is really great news.

Hopefully this will make a big difference. The big problem I have is that the sites that are above us in the search engines tend to be massive sites that can afford to employ a member of staff just for the phrase tennis elbow. the NHS is an example. How can I compete a company that has UK's largest budget?

Anyway, check back in a week of so and see where we're at in the engines!

Kindest regards

Does our support work with golfers elbow?

admin | 22 April, 2008 22:01

Hello again. Another customer, Brian from Nottingham has emailed me to say "I have Golfers Elbow, will the tennis elbow support work for me?" The answer is yes, for tennis elbow you place the yellow thermovibe pad on the outside of the elbow and for golfers elbow you place the yellow thermovibe pad on the inside of the elbow. Boy was he pleased, he sent me an email to say "You have restored my faith in internet purchasing" and that after a couple of holes he took it easy with his swing then as he felt no pain he let rip. Another satisfied customer with a tennis elbow support or should I say a golfers elbow support from Lastrap. Pete, Lastrap.

Tennis elbow questions.

admin | 22 April, 2008 21:59

Good morning. Just received a very nice email from Barbara in Hampshire, who has been suffering with Tennis Elbow. Wow did she ask some questions before she purchased. Does the Tennis Elbow support do this, does it do that, in the end I had to say that we are not doctors but doctors do in fact recommend the Lastrap tennis elbow support. Well after several emails back and forth Barbara bought one, now here is the nice part. I got an email back from her to say "Thank you so much, you people at Lastrap were so helpful and I am now playing squash again, thank you". I have to say it is nice to get these emails back from satisfied customers and it goes to show not just tennis players get tennis elbow. Peter, Lastrap

Sore elbow after throwing stones into sea.

admin | 16 April, 2008 21:43

I took my son to Brighton yesterday, we were walking along the beach and saw a bottle bobbing around about 100 feet from the shore. In a typical male style both my Son and I started throwing stones trying to hit the bottle. As the bottle bobbed further and further I had to put more and more into my throwing just to get near the bottle. My last throw really hurt my elbow. By the time I got home my elbow was very painful indeed.

Once arriving home I immediately put my elbow support on, within about half an hour the pain had really started to ease. I took it off this morning and the pain was gone.

I've had this throwers elbow many times before but it usually lasts from a week to sometimes a couple of months. Thanks to my Lastrap elbow support it was gone in a day.

Came off golf course in agony, did not have on my tennis elbow support on.

Peter | 06 April, 2008 09:22

For the first time in 2 months I decided I would go out on the golf course for a round without wearing my tennis elbow lastrap support. Boy was that a mistake, I came off the course in agony. I think the problem was that I had taken it off too soon, I was glad to get home and put it back on. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said that I had taken it off too soon. That's not a mistake I'll be making again! I cant believe how much relief is obtained from my Lastrap tennis elbow support.

Tennis elbow meets it's match.

Richard | 04 April, 2008 21:44

At last sufferers of painful tennis elbow have an non surgical option. Lastrap have been producing tennis elbow supports that actually help to stop tennis elbow in it's tracks. The Lastrap support is not just a support but also actively repairs the affected joint by drastically reducing the damaging vibrations that reach the elbow. With far fewer of these damaging, microscopic vibrations your elbow is able to successfully heal it's self.
